I went to fix a boiler yesterday and the customer asked me to look at the new shower she has had fitted by builders in a new loft conversion.
The shower is a two knob with the square X type of heads. One is flow and the other the temperature knob. Looks similar to the Grohe range but may well be a copy.
The HW is from a Megaflow and its set to about 65°C yet the shower mixes too much cold water at the hottest setting and the output is only luke warm.
This seems to be a common problem which is why I dont get involved with showers.
How do others deal with this problem which seems very common.
Tony
