Hi all.
I am going to change my bath taps so I have a thermostatic mixer.
it is really difficult to get the bath panel off as there is built in furniture in the way so I was just going to swap over the taps, leaving the existing legs on so I don't have to take the panel off.
Problem is that the hot and cold water is the wrong way round, so the hot water is on the cold water tap side, and vice versa.
As this is a thermostatic tap, would it matter if I just put it on as is and swap the red and blue dot around, or does the hot water have to come in on the side that the thermostatic tap is on and the cold on the water power tap side?
Thanks all.
