Thomas Dudley siphon

Hi,I need to replace a bayonet fitting for a Thomas Dudley siphon in compact system because the lugs have broken.my problem is the compact tank is moulded and it’s impossible to get at the nut holding the bayonet from below.Is it possible to change this inside the tank or do I need a new system?

Not something I’m aware of, but perhaps contact TD? They have a technical department.

Thanks. I’ll add photos This shows bayonet fitting I need to replace and the underside of the unit showing the pipe going to bowl which appears to be moulded

Looking at that photo, it looks like it should just pull down? Eg, push fit?

Why do you think it is a TD cistern or valve there.

Because it’s a td siphon in it.I’ll attach a photo of the system

Hi just pumps,thank you for your help last Week.I have now got a new basket,photo enclosed,which appears to be push fit but I am having difficulty taking out the old one due to restricted access.Putting the siphon on the old one would help but because the lugs are broken it’s a no go.Any help would be appreciated.Regards Roy
