Hasn't it been a good twenty-four hours? Amir Khan in a brilliant demonstration of boxing, and only seventeen. Chris Hoy with a fantastic climax to the speed trial, one world record after another. Then, home off night shift on Saturday morning to watch the rowing, which was fantastic, (most bouncing i've ever done on my sofa on my own); later it was the sailing, brilliant.

What an evening today has been also, again Amir Khan giving an outstanding performance, and Kelly Holmes running as well as she did after last night, at least I enjoyed it all.
