Tiles and power shower?

I have bought a whole load of really pretty (about 2cm square) tiles that I wanted to put around the bath.

The problem is that we now want to fit a power shower and I have been told that these small tiles are unsuitable since the force of the shower would make it more likely that water would get behind the tiles and cause problems. Is this true? Is there no way to protect against this or do I have to buy some bigger tiles?

Many thanks

Katie

The only issue that I can see with smaller tiles is that you will have more grout. If it is maintained I can't see a problem.

If the size u say is correct 2cm (about 1 inch) that is very small. The only prob u will have here is if u dont grout sufficiently.

You can buy 'aquapanel' which installs before the tiles are applied, its like plasterboard but totally waterproof so if the grout does give the aquapanel will laugh at the water.

Search the net for aquapanel and youll see what I mean.
