tiling around bath

Is it necessary to tile all around your bath or can you just tile the taps end and side and plaster and paint other end?

Yes you can paint it no problem. This is how wet rooms are constructed in Denmark - all paint and no tiles.

for a better look tile all around to back of bath an up 2/3ft....much nicer an doesnt look a cheap diy job
