Timber Decking Warehouse

New to the site. Planning to lay decking this weekend and ordered a decking kit from Timber Decking Warehouse based in Lutterworth. Paid for the kit on Saturday, no contact from them. Have sent 3 emails and left 5 voicemails on their customer service line. Wondered if anyone else had any dealings with them?

Had a quick look at them - I wouldn't buy from them. The domain is registered to a finance company that was dissolved in 2012. There seems to be no reviews of the company online. On their website I can't find their physical address, only a PO box number - found the physical address by googling directories. Streetview of the address (2009) shows a small residential street, no sign of any commercial unit. They may be entirely legit and just fly under the radar but I'd be suspicious.

If you paid by Paypal or credit card you will be protected if they're scammers. You could try googling another business in the same village to get a phone number and ask if they've heard of them.

Thanks very much for the reply. Some good advice there and I appreciate the time you took over some research. Luckily I paid by paypal. The seller appears to have begun the refund process and has apologised, blaming a backlog of orders. Fingers crossed I'll get the money back and will source the decking from a more reliable source. Thanks again for the reply.

Thought I'd post an update. Got a refund and bought a decking kit from eDecks online. Had the perfect size for the area of decking I needed, so saved me the hassle of buying timber separately and having to cut it all. Great service from them, and good quality decking. It's now laid and looks a treat in time for summer.
