Timber lintel for 4.8 x 3 pub shed?

I'm about to start building a 4.8m x 3m pub shed. The roof will be a flat roof using 6 x 2 timber, with a 100mm drop from front to back. Im using 18mm plywood for the roof with 1.2mm sheet of epdm on top of that. I'm installing a 2.4m x 2.1m patio door central to the front. My question is choice of lintel construction, could I put in a timber lintel above the patio door? If so what size is recommended? Any advice would be appreciated
