Hi all, hopefully i can tap some of your wisdom, i am currently in the planning approval phase for side extension on our three bed detached 1935 house, currently we have wood frames and doors to the front ( 4 bay windows 2up and 2 down , and a porch with door and windows on three sides, the extension will add an extra bay window upstairs and bay window downstairs ( but will need double doors as part of it as the extension will cut access to the rear so we need opening doors to allow us to take things to the rear ) , the current windows downstairs are inlaid to the top with coloured glass , as part of the renovation we want to replace all the windows, as the house is road facing and is quite a nice looking house i feel timber windows would be a better choice.

How much extra should i expect to pay for timber windows ? , also i am living in nottingham , does anyone have any recommendations in this area for timber window manufacturers ... ? many thanks for your help
