Time switch

I have a Randall 103 electro-mechanical 24 hour time switch and the programme tappets will not stay where i put them is it possible to tighten these up there by switching heating on and of at right times? or is it a replacement job.

I think there is a nut that produces the friction pressure but I dont remember if thats available as an adjustment or only if taking it apartfor the last time.

Its pretty old now and most people would replace it with a modern digital programmer which would give better control if your system supports it.
