Hi,

Just recently, my toilet fill valve has begun not shutting off completly, resulting in the cistern slowly filling up and overflowing into the pan.

The toilet is less than a year old and has a dual push button flush. The fill valve looks to be of the diaghram float valve type.

My question is: Is there something in the valve I can easily replace or should I buy a completely new valve?

Thanks for any advice,

Gerwyn.

Yes it has a washer - might just be a piece of scale stopping it shutting. Take it to bits!
