I have a problem with my toilet. The toilet is continuously trying to fill the bowl and I am worried about how much water is being wasted. Can anyone offer any advice? Many thanks
Yes, I think so, sorry I dont have much of a clue about plumbing.. Water is continuing to fill the bowl all the time, a continuous trickle rather than loads of water...
If you dont take the lid off the cistern and have a look whats going on were not going to get very far with helping you ,have read of the topics in the wiki section at the top of the forum
Thanks buck51, I live in a new build and the cistern is under a shelf unit... I managed to fixed the problem as the cistern lid was pressing agaist the ballcock resulting in the continuous flush. Now just need to re-seal the shelf back into place. Thanks for your help, this is a great forum.
