Hello,

My condensing boiler should sit with a pressure reading of 1.5. Right now it is around 1.2. Instructions say it should be topped up if it goes between 0.2 and 0.9. The only time it does this is when it is firing when it drops to 0.7 but then quickly builds up again. The boiler is in my flat which is occupied by my two grown up kids who know less about boilers then even me. Do I need to make a 50 mile dash to top the water up to 1.5 or will it wait a fortnight until I am visting again?

Many thanks,

Jim

I would put my money on it being ok - it would not be worth driving 50 mls to top it up 0.2 bar.
