TPI Thermostat with Old Oil Boiler

I have an old Cast iron Oil boiler, which digital programmable thermostat is best suited for it?

I read that TPI controlled stats which seems the norm are not good for non condensing / modulating boilers, is this correct?

The only digital thermostat I found that can switch tpi off is danfoss.

Honeywell CM range all the way.

Just alter the parameters to suit ethe boiler.
