Trade Documents - We will ban any refernce to climate change

You truly have lost it mate.

Scraping the barrel to make your points. You miss the point that the US also wants weakened labelling so you wouldn't have the choice of knowing where your chicken came from.

Sell your grandkids down the river. (y)

Bit like this horse meat for beef caper than ;)

All it needs is 'country of origin', then we'll know won't we. Equally, I'm sure that free range British bred birds will proudly display a label stating this.
of course, 'mechanically recovered chicken' used in prepared meals could be a different kettle of fish (quite literally), but then that's already the case isn't it? even in the EU, I wonder if the US have horses pretending to be cows?

Gallahad does not quite understand any of the above tis a problem one often comes across with highly educated people

They always try to over complicate every thing

Buy a chlorine testing kit

Higher drug prices? The junkies won't like that

You might want to engage brain before posting.

Unless you are using the Tory tactic of spreading misinformation to disguise all the lies......in which case good attempt Old Bean.

Don't buy chicken

Simples ;)

Just buy British. Why would anybody want to buy American chickens rather than British ones? The problem is probably going to be when you buy ready made meals, but seeing that they are a cause of obesity, plastic pollution, greenhouse gases etc. best to buy fresh local produce and learn to cook.

No.

Market forces dont work like that. If cheaper meats get imported, suoermarjets will stock them and people would buy them.

The best way to avoid lowering standards is not to start, rules of origin arent a solution.

We should aim to raise standards, not lower.
That includes the EU, which currently allows some questionable E numbers, which other countries ban.

Might be hard when we have US style employment laws with at will labour - so the employer can fire you for any reason, like the the US people will be too busy working multiple jobs just to stay afloat - the last thing on their mind wll be whats in the ready meal.

More inequality - delicious and they voted for it.

13-14 Nov 2017 Document

Climate Change. UK (Gysin) inquired about the possibility of including reference to climate change in a future UK-US trade agreement

US (Stewart) responded emphatically that climate change is the most political (sensitive) question for the US, stating it is a ‘lightning rod issue’, mentioning that as of 2015,
USTR are bound by Congress not to include mention of greenhouse gas emission reductions in trade agreements.

Action Items
 US to share their public lines on chlorine-washed chicken to help inform the media narrative around the issue.

Great so this taking back control thing is;

Higher Drug Prices
Chlorinated Chicken
Screw the environment

Shame on you for wanting this for yourself or your kids. This is Brexit coming home in all its failed glory.
Do younot bore the t.ts off yourself?
