Hi,

We have just bought a new house and the house is painted with Armstead Contract Matt in White and Magnolia.

I know Armstead is Dulux / akzonobel brand

We are only looking for a small pot of magnolia to touch up before we decorate to our own taste.

Would we be able to use Dulux Paint Mixing Matt
https://www.dulux.co.uk/en/products/paint-mixing-matt#?selectedColor=1187875/csid=5359/id=1187875 or Once Matt https://www.dulux.co.uk/en/products/once-matt#?selectedColor=1187875/csid=5359/id=1187875

Or should we just buy Armstead Contract Matt ?

Thanks

The problem with getting the contract matt is that it only comes in large tubs (5/10litres?) Seems a waste.

The problem with getting a tester pot (250 ml) of Dulux matt emulsion in magnolia is that it will have a small amount of vinyl in it (which the contract matt doesn't). This will be hardly noticeable - it depends how much it bothers you!

Ask the builder if they can let you have a small quantity of the paint used - it's cheap enough.

Thanks Emily.

The builders are off site now, a decorator did say he would leave some at the end of the job but must have forgot.

I have just been in Asda, and noticed they had dulux white and magnolia on offer.

I got two tins 5 litte tins for aprox £30
The white, Pure Brilliant White Matt was £10 and the magnolia was £17~£20.

Thanks again
