Trade Paint - watering down?

Hi guys

Quick question, and sorry its seems very simplistic!

I am about to start doing some decorating. I have been reading about the pros and cons of using trade paint and from what i can gather, trade is better.

But i have also read that i need to water down trade paint, is this true and if so what percentages? (if its relevant i am painting onto interior walls and ceilings that have 3 coats of magnolia put onto new plaster about 2 years ago)

Hi

Water down by 10% is fine for most trade paint (Dulux Trade).
Especially in warm weather it makes if flow easier.
