Transformer Load On Dimmer Switch

Hi

I have a simple (I think) question:

I understand that a dimmer switch "sees" the sum of the loads of the transformers in the lighting circuit it controls.

i.e. six 60w transformers powering 6 50w MR16s = 360w total load on the dimmer switch.

My question is, one of the transformers in the circuit has no bulb connected, is the load of that transformer still "seen" by the switch.

So in the example above, if I removed one of the bulbs, would the switch "see" 360w or 300w?

Many thanks
John
