I'm interested in buying a 30s property which suffers from a bowed-in roof. There are several shrubs growing within 1m of the front wall, including one which is growing right up against the wall. One of the shrubs is at least 2m tall and its trunk diameter is approximately 10-15cm (please see image). Could this be a cause of subsidence? We've had a very dry summer in the area this year.

What evidence of subsidence is there?
What condition are the walls in?
Have you had a structural survey done?
A picture of the roof would be nice too!

Looks like a holly bush.. (low water demand)..
Anyways.. first, are you on clay?
Then what alterations have you done in the loft space? Loft conversion? etc?
Do you have any significant evidence of cracking in the walls around the windows and doors on that front elevation?

Oh and roof photos would help too..

DOES SHE HAVE A BUSH LIKE THAT!

What after 7 kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's pregnant in every programme she been on.

No bush left.
