More of a grumble than a question...

Had to remove the flow cartridges on one of these over the weekend, to drain down the pipework feed to it as some changes were required upstream.

The brass front end of the cartridges unseparated from the plastic body during removal and the only way to get the rest out was using needle nose pliers which completely annihilated both of the plastic bodies! I spent ages trying to realign and screw in the brass parts before resorting to the destruction!

Two new cartridges now required, at £20 each, to replace the perfectly good ones that were in there at the start!

Grrrr.... Bloody plastic parts!
Bloody plumbing!!
