installed 3 years ago (rotherham) medium water hardness
now only gives cold water!
presume that cartridge has been adversely affected by scale build up.?? no scale inhibitor/reducer fitted on either cw/dhw system.
If this is likely.... how easy is it to remove the cartridge to descale and or replace?
I have removed the cover plate heads and handles but given that the access around the tile cut-out is severely restricted, can anyone recommend or suggest a "plan of attack"
I can just about get access to the cw and dhw entry points as the are on flexi braided hoses. I can cap these off whilst work is ongoing and double check that the issue is not a failure on dhw supply. Issue is removing and descaling cartridge (vinegar!?) or getting a new 1???
