Hi all,

The shower is quite cool on switch position II, which I assume means both elements should be on. There is no change in water temp on position I either.

The water will heat up as I turn the temp dial to around number 6, but obviously the flow decreases dramatically by that point.

I've tested what I think are the heating element terminals at the back and both get 240v on switch position II so I think the switch is ok. The left element gives no reading on the resistance test and the right element shows 11.7 ohms.

I assume this means I need to replace the left element? Is there a guide anywhere for this, and does anyone have a suggestion as to where to buy it from?

Thanks,
Gareth

Yes your heat can needs replacing.
What kw is the shower ?
I get all my shower parts from george at the showerdoc nextday delivery.
Depending on kw of shower a new heat can will cost between £60 - £85.

You can buy a new 10kw Triton shower for less than a £100, if you shop around. Repairs may not be economical if the spare is costly. Just a thought. :)

My fiancée said that too. Depends how much I can find a heat can for. How can I determine the power rating?
