Triton Rapide 1 not switching off

Hi, hope this is in the right area and couldn't see a thread for it when i searched..

I have an old triton rapide 1 that when i turn the dial off, water still comes through & the shower still sounds like it is working.

Is this a common (easily fixable!!) fault ?

Stabiliser valves faulty.
They are about £30.
Easy job to change.
