This war is getting worse, I said a few days ago the Houthis will get involved and potentialy close off the red sea to Saudi oil,. Looks like this is happening, so glad now I have two EVs as I reckon we are in for petrol shortages. Next move the UAE will get involved.

It's all part of Trump's masterplan. He's playing 4-D chess and is 27 moves ahead of everyone else.

PHEW! Here's me thinking many folks are dying, word economy in turmoil and Middle East stability a pipe dream. Thank goodness it's just a Trump game of chess.

Hang on, that dumb orange lackwit wouldn't even know how to play cheat at draughts....?

Trumpf’s naivety was highlighted when he thought he’d get a deal with Pootin on Ukrane. Likewise here he’s upping the ante and Irann will dig in. Isreal is about to be shafted by its ally as it can’t go it alone.

Get yer medication checked out or go and see the doc and get some medication

You got anger management issues noseall ? Are your neighbours safe ? Blimey perhaps some of em voted Tory !!!! Or even reform ? And woe betide any of em that voted brexit ??

Jeez us your not a fire arms licence holder are you noseall

Yes exactly ( scary )
I'm pretty certain you're a Brexit voting traitor.

I wouldn't trust Trump unless he wants something from anyone. His constant talk of deals are becoming tiresome now. He needs to get out of this Iran caper before he really does some damage to the world. He has control of the worlds largest and most capable military machine but has no idea of how to use it. It must be frustrating for the commanders and generals to legally have to follow his orders knowing the grave errors of his judgement. Not sure of the legality of them having to follow his orders but pretty sure that they will have to.

.... is because he is an actual moron. His metaphorical toolbox contains only a hammer and....... another hammer.
His intellect is more limited than his vocabulary.
The worrying thing is, I don't think there is any stopping him now. He seemed so level headed when he first got into power, Saying he isnt going to get involved in any more wars and is the president of peace. Jeez thank god he isnt a warmonger.. An analogy of him so far is like me taking a race horse out for a country stroll.

It’s a tough one, do you get shot for not following orders or wait until your side loses and get shot for following them. I imagine the Geneva convention protects the ordinary soldier

Depends on the orders, if the orders were to do something you shouldnt do then you can refuse the order. I think generals have to follow orders from the president.

Google says;
Military personnel are obligated to obey only lawful orders, as their oath is to the Constitution, not the President personally. They are legally required to refuse orders that are manifestly illegal.

What is illegal about this war for a general to refuse the orders of Trump?

To be fair, you seem to have a strange version of google that tells you striking buildings/infrastructure used for military purposes is a war crime. It isn't, the subject is well covered by the UN and International law.

Whilst US soldiers make their oath to the constitution, to support and defend the constitution, bear true faith and allegiance to it, and obey the orders of the President and their superiors.

So, once again, you're talking ***t.
