Meanwhile Zack Polanski on the telly box this morning coming out with the usual guff we hear from Greens in these situations. Essentially saying what we should have been doing is having more cups of tea with the Iranians to sort everything out.

Imagine that lot in power, doing away with things like our nuclear deterrent whilst stocking up on the Tetley's.

Polanski might be reflecting that, last week 7-9 countries in the middle east WERE NOT being bombed by Iran; whereas today- purely as a result of a no new wars 'special military operation', they effin well are! Just saying.

All these attacks have done is make America and Israel look as though they were negotiating with Iran in bad faith - which they were.

This is one of the big takeaways. We expect that sort of bad faith in the Middle East. But not from the country which is supposed to set the standards for the world. How will China now ever trust negotiations or ceasefires etc. with the USA over Taiwan.

Iran could have produced a nuclear weapon years ago if they really wanted to.

The aim of Trump and Netanyahu is clearly to remove the present government of Iran and replace it with one that will be amenable to the wishes of America and Israel.
If 1000's or 100's of 1000's have to die to achieve that end, then so be it.
