The answer to my question is obvious,
The UN would have required at least that negotiations ended, and Nuclear inspectors confirmed Israel's accusations, before any UN approved attack took place.
The proof that Iran were not working towards a nuclear weapon would have disproved Israel's accusations and prevented the war.
Israel is the real war monger in the Middle East and started the attack while USA and Iran were still negotiating.

US pentagon sources believe the strike on the school was by them rather than Israel but it is unconfirmed.

Less confirmed reports imply it was because they hadn't reviewed the base to eliminate clinics and schools.

And for those that aren't aware, having schools on or next to military bases isn't unusual. Hitting them with Tomahawks is.

In fairness to the US, they've absolved Israel of blame and are thoroughly investigating. It doesn't sound as though they will try and conceal anything.
