Lord Peter Ricketts told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “None of this, I think, is in any sense legal in a way that the UK would recognise.

“There was really no imminent threat to the US. This is action that they chose to undertake, or were dragged into it by the Israelis.”

Explosions have now been reported in Kuwait, again another location with multiple US military bases. There are as many as 13,500 US troops stationed in the country, according to some estimates.

Simple question. Do you think Iran should have nuclear arms? Yes or No?

Iran has offered to never stockpile nuclear material and will reduce its current stockpile to "almost nothing", in return for elimination of sanctions, according to sources close to the high-stakes talks which took place indirectly with the US in Geneva on Thursday.

It is understood to be the first time, through multiple rounds of talks, that Tehran has made such an offer and they are now willing to work with the International Atomic Energy Agency to "down-blend" their stockpile either by converting it into fuel or exporting it.
Pretending it's a choice between war and regime change in Iran or nuclear weapons is just wrong.

With the whole of the Middle East wanting to obliterate them? Yes.
Well guess what...

With a genocidal/ethnic cleansing nation such as israel in the region, then is it any wonder that Iran might want a deterrent? ;)

And while you're about it, maybe you'd care to explain the justification for any nation to have nuclear weapons.?

After all, only one nation has actually used them!

And what do you should think happen if they are found to have them or trying to build them?

Start with some sort of negotiated agreement which can be effectively monitored and stop them getting anywhere near having a nuclear weapon.

This is what Iran had offered:

He claimed Iran had agreed to zero stockpiles of highly enriched uranium, the down-blending of its existing stockpile of highly enriched uranium inside Iran, and full verification access for the International Atomic Energy Agency. US weapons inspectors might even be allowed inside Iran alongside the inspectors from the IAEA UN body, he said. Iran would enrich only what it needed for its civil nuclear programme. A final agreement on principles could be signed this week and the details of how the verification system would work might take another three months.

I'd find it hard to believe that the Ayatollah isn't already in Russia, if that's the case the Regime has already fallen. We know the Shah's son has been on standby for a while to help set up a new Govt, numerous IRGC have defected over the last few weeks.

A counter attack on Israel is likely if not already started.
According to the JP?
