There's a good few other Arab countries besides Iran.
They aren't at war with America.
 
If Iran don't open up the Strait, I wonder if he'll be true to his word come the deadline re launching a 4 hour blitz on them? Or will it be another cry wolf moment.

I had to laugh at Hegseth giving a speech earlier about the rescue of the pilot, which in and of itself is obviously a good thing. However he talked about Trump as though he's the second coming and towards the end of the speech said something about 'in God's name' or along those lines.

It genuinely makes me lol the way these nut jobs (on all sides) often link their endeavors to God, as if God is smiling at them for what they do.

If God does exist, it's certainly not a God I'd want to follow if it condones the killing of anyone, let alone innocents.

Reminds me of Putin a few months back going to church and lighting a candle. lol. The hypocrisy of these 'leaders' knows no bounds right enough.

Iran will lash out at any Arab country that has even the remotest ties with the US or Israel, don't forget the October 7th attack was launched at the behest of Iran because Saudi were on the brink of signing up to the Abraham Accords.

I just can't understand how Iran has such a devout following of supporters on here. I get the Trump derangement syndrome aspect but really, hating Trump surely isn't sufficient reason to support terrorists.

I don't think anyone is actually supporting the Iranian regime as brutal as it is. For me personally I am looking at the way trump is handling the situation and making it worse. I liked Trump and thought he would be for the people but he seems unhinged to me. He isn't just threatening the regime as he is now threatening the civillian infrastructure with destroying power stations and water supplies, the ordinary Iranian people will suffer at his hands after he promised them help. I agree the Iranian regime needs dismantling in a military capacity but he is going above and beyond and attacking everything.

I get what you're saying, but whilst the original Gulf targets by the IRGC were US bases, they quickly moved on to tourist hotels and civilian infrastructure.

Leave the Iranians to it?

The Iranians are threatening all of it's neighbours including their de sanition plants too. All through the US wading in without any real plan or goals, you can understand Israel stance and motivation but not the US. Israel have disagreed with putting boots on the ground as they know full well that task is a crazy idea. The US or at least Trump and Hegseth are just completely out of their depth,

As I understand it Irann will bomb their desalination plants if Trumpf takes theirs out including energy

I don’t think it has, a good few right wingers/re form supporters are perplexed to say the least by Trumpf actions. If his objective was regime change etc he needed hundreds of thousands of troops on the ground. He had a couple there and they were pulled out pretty darn quick.
