How will the upcoming attack on Iran go.

Quite a few tonight on various news progs saying the last thing Netanyahu wants is any semblance of peace. Conflict/war helps keep him in power. To be fair they were saying this long before this conflict.

I think the next 48 hours are going to be very interesting re the ceasefire and if it'll truly hold.
 
Odd isn't it how Pete Hesgeth announced a victory and how Iran was begging for a deal. Now Iran is threatening to call it off, doesnt seem like begging, doesn't seem like a victory. Still the strait remains shut, still Israel is bombing Lebanon. Great peace deal and cease fire then.

Israel doesn't want a ceasefire.
Trump probably wants one but he isn't really in charge, he is just a front man, his rhetoric about wiping out Iran and ending civilisations is for his MAGA supporters, you hear this sort of stuff from Trumptards in the pub all the time.

So you don't want Tehran destroyed and you don't Iran sent back to the medieval era. I'm glad we agree.

If you want the straights open then you need a ceasefire. I'm not happy about any of this mess but escalation is only going to make everything worse.

The Straits of Hormuz have been open for centuries.
If Netanyahu and Trump hadn't attacked Iran, the Straits would still be open.
Iran has agreed to reopen the Straits, that is why Israel has escalated the war.
Israel doesn't want the Straits open, they want inflict maximum economic pain on the world, in particular Europe, by creating economic pain, the counties who want to stay out of this conflict will have no choice but to get involved because their economies will suffer further if they don't.

They could either chose to force Israel to accept a ceasefire or join America in attacking Iran to force open the Straits.
Who do think they would chose to side with.
What started as a war of choice for Netanyahu and Trump will become a war of necessity for others.
Netanyahu is playing Trump and the world like a fiddle.

He’s in charge but unlike the first term he no longer has any independent minded advisers to give him objective advice, and there is no one to counter the poison that is dripped in his ear from the war mongers and yes men.

Is that why they have bombed their Arab neighbour's?
