Trump has declared a military victory and a peace deal and all he is actually doing is signalling to Bejing that it is he who has the say on the region and its oil rather than Bejing has. Israel is not falling for it and is showing this by continuing its attacks in Lebanon, Israel won't stop with Iran either as none of its goals have been achieved with Irans nuclear threat and threat against Israel itself. Iran has been firing and targeting Kuwait and has kept the strait closed until Israel stops which of course they won't, Iran is signalling by attacking Kuwait that they still have a military and can hurt the worlds economy regardless of Trumps cease fire. What we are seeing is not a massive military victory by the US but a mere act in a play. It's all smoke and mirrors.

Restocking wouldn't help the US, their kit has long production tails and are running full speed already.

It does give them time to move the Marine MEU into the region, airborne troops don't have as much armoured equipment so aren't as suitable for a prolonged land invasion.

The rest of the world is redesigning its trade and financial systems to be less reliant on an unpredictable and irrational "ally" that closes to treat its friends as enemies.

This should be no surprise to anyone.

Canada is lobbying to be admitted to the UK, Italy and Japan’s joint advanced fighter jet development programme, according to three people familiar with the matter.

Canada wants to participate in the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) as an “observer”, the people said, in its latest attempt to distance itself from the US and strengthen ties with other trading partners.

A Canadian government official told the FT that Ottawa’s efforts were part of its attempts to “diversify defence procurement and grow partnership with like-minded allies”. A formal request had been sent to the UK and letters to Japan and Italy would follow shortly, the official said.

Observer status would grant Ottawa access to certain confidential project information while it considered whether to participate as a buyer or joint development partner at a later stage, the people said."

You only have to look at her to know she is only interested in guys like me and other high flyers. She is hardly going to marry a dustman.
