Just been looking around for a better electric deal as my lecy has gone up 19% off-peak & 39.7% peak. Now most households tend to use a lot of electric between 3pm & 7:30pm & of course that's why the lecy companies have their high rates at these times, including the one below. But would be interesting to see if you could make it work in your favour.?? Its certainly different way of pricing, & i like differant. 100 green.com

That’s certainly an unusual pricing structure! I’d work out the cost using your actual half-hourly or hourly consumption rather than just comparing the headline rates. If you can shift the washing machine, dishwasher and EV charging (if applicable) away from the peak period, it might work out well, but the standing charge and the expensive 3pm–7:30pm window could easily wipe out the savings. Have you compared the rates against your current tariff using a typical month’s usage? That should give you a much clearer idea of whether it’s worth switching.

Seems too good to be true. I’ve just got a quote from them for medium usuage (which they have estimated lower than my actual use) and it’s £159 a month. Recently changed to British Gas and as I said, I gave them my actual use. My monthly standing order with them is £105 per month.
