clean it first with cleaning material that was around when it was produced then consider if its suitable for safe family use,plenty of new fake import belfast & butler sinks available on the internet which meet Uk safety standards.

Farm near me has 100+ of them sinks in their fields for their animals to sup from but they also shyte and pee in them and yes they sell them on internet auction sites.

used to be that all resurfacing attempts even by guys who did nothin else were more or less failures. paatches of coatings peeled off after a short time an the surface was left worse then befor.
but they could have improved over time
