We have a large lawn/paddock area (30x20m approx) which until 2 years ago was little used. We now run sessions for groups of nursery-age children with a very outdoor focus which means rain or shine it's getting a lot of use.
Amazing the damage even very small feet can do over a few rainy weeks, it's looking in a sorry state and we need to consider the long-term care so it doesn't become permanently ruined.
I've been looking at "turf reinforcement" products like this: https://www.sure-green.com/turf-reinforcement-mesh-medium-grade.html
I wondered if anyone has experience with this stuff? The big question is if it would make the ground unpleasant when kids are sitting/kneeling to play - I'm hoping to get a sample but so far no luck.
