I just watched the program today, where the grandfather was supposed to have lost a BSA Bantam motorbike, in a quarry. They had divers in there searching for it, on behalf of the grandson - they found, and pulled out an old near complete bike, not the right one, then pulled out a bike petrol tank. The petrol tank had BSA on the side of it, chromed, and much larger capacity, with rubber knee pads, and entirely the wrong shape for a Bantam, more likely a BSA Golden Flash tank. The Bantam, lacked the knee pads, much smaller, and a completely different shape, I also wonder how it might have detached itself from the bike at all.

Off went the grandson, claiming they would treasure the removed petrol tank of their grandads old Bantam bike.

was it a gold star tank?

Speaking of BSA

There was a fella in the CC years ago who did some work for a bloke (couple grand) who snuffed it before he paid him

Due to probate and all that caper his missis could not settle the debt for a few weeks so she offered him her deceased husbands motor bike as payment

The fellas missis told him not to take the bike
No where to put it and wait for the money !!!!

Yeah right

Bike in question was a BSA DBD 34 gold star in clubman’s trim with matching RRT2 gearbox
All in pristine condition

Yes exactly

Woman for you

That's it! When you catch them out on one lie for the cameras, it casts doubt on the whole show. Like the 'Scam Interceptors' one, they obviously only show the ones where they succeed, but to falsify for the cameras is a whole different level.
