Hello.
In-laws loft needs reinforcement to make it ok for storage. I have loads of 4x2 UC3 timber I was hoping to use to lay perpendicular onto to the current joists. They would be spanning 2.7m and affixed at either end to the concrete walls.
Since UC3 is particularly meant for outdoor uses, is there any downside to using it to reinforce the loft floor before boarding?
TIA.
