Hi all,
Normally it's recommended to have a compacted hardcore base, then 100mm concrete slab followed by the 100mm of insulation before screeding over UFH pipes.
Just wondering if MOT type 1 hardcore is used, if the hardcore can be compacted to the required depth and then insulation on top of this?
So basically skip the wet concreting to build a slab. There is already an existing concrete floor which required raising.
Cheers.
