I have a log burner boiler feeding a buffer tank via a ladermat type load unit and also UFH fed from the same tank using a small modulated pump to feed hot water into the UFH circuit.
The cool water feed for the ladermat and the cool water displaced from the UFH are next to each other, can these pipes be connected to a single pipe to the bottom of the tank or do I need to run seperate pipes to the tank.
This is just to save a bit of pipework so is not critical. Looking at it if the UFH injection pump didn't allow water to pass faster than the controlled speed it will be OK but I don't know if CH pumps act this way.
