The top seemed to unblock it. Is underneath a case of u screwing it under sink and putting vac up pipe? Got no idea about plumbing

There are 2 nuts,1 disconnects the trap from the outlet pipe and the other is on the Ubend of the trap.
Remove Ubend and check it is clear, no harm on wet vac on outlet pipe either whilst you are at it.
