Hi,

Has anyone used AHT under floor heating, My client has been told that it will work under carpet, he wants to use as his primary source of heat.
Small one bedroom flats, (seven flats in total).
I thought not a good idea any comments.

Cheers

wouldnt recommend it. 'lectric UFH is good in a single room, under tiles. But not for whole dwellings under carpets. Energy bills would rocket.

Suitable for all Floor Coverings
Due to the low working temperature of the AHT heating element, it fits directly under every type of floor covering – under timber or parquet flooring without damaging color, lacquer, adhesives and physical properties; or under wall-to-wall carpet with no overheating or damage to the carpet material.
