There is wallpaper on the walls in my room but there was also a freeze that went around the middle and top of my walls. I removed the freeze but had to leave the wallpaper. My dad told me to use an undercoat which I did but I thought it was for timber or plaster only and appears to be oil based. Have I made a mistake? How do I take it off if I have?
