Hi,
Just scraped a bit of insulation off a 200w fastwarm underfloor heating cable, can this be fixed? The cable itself is undamaged, it's just the bit if insulation sleeve is damaged and exposing the cable.

I was thinking a bit of liquid electrical tape painted over it, doing 2 coats. The liquid tape is meant to be rated to 300⁰c, would this be ok?

Cheers

How do you know it’s not damaged? Have you tested it properly for continuity and IR?

Did the continuity test as per installation and get same reading as before. Also no visible damage to the cable itself, just the scraped off insulation.
