I need to have my kitchen stop tap repositioned on the outside of my kitchen wall.I have dug up the ground outside to locate the cold water feed and have discovered it is 22mm copper that serves 4 properties ,with each property taking water from this feed via a 15mm tee.
1.Is it normal for the feed to the properties to be run underground in 22mm copper.
2.What would I expect the plumber to use to run a new tee and 15mm feed into my kitchen,ie. would it need to be blue plastic u/g piping or could he simply put a new stop tap on the existing 15mm and carry it on into the kitchen to connect up with existing pipework.
