i am looking for torch on underlay and the cheapest i can find is something called mineral cap sheet. i cannot find torch on felt near me for a reasonable price. are these different materials and used for different purposes, or can i use the torch on mineral cap sheet instead of the torch on underlay?

underlay or mineral cap sheet. my friend who is doing my garage roof replacing it completely, is asking me to get torch on underlay and torch on felt.

Ask your friend what roofing supplier he uses and go there. Or search the Web for a dedicated roofing supplies merchants. Don't use the sheds (BQ, Wickes, Homebase etc).
