I need mains pressure hot, and do not want to use a pump.

There is lots of info on unvented systems, but not much on vented (e.g torrent system) Has you used / installed these, is it a better option over unvented?

If I were to install a unvented system, is there much difference, apart from cost between:

Megaflo 210i direct (£800) does not need annual inspection of anode (what is anode ?)

Ariston Primo 210i (£450)

I have 22mm mains pipe, standing pressure 5bar, Can fill 10 liter bucket in 16 seconds from 15mm kitchen tape.

Any advise, recommendations gratefully received.

Yes, go ahead with the Ariston Primo stainless direct version.

Megaflo is over priced and has variable build quality, warranty is the same as Ariston which comes from Europe's largest cylinder plant in Belgium (I'm told).

We have fitted both but the Megaflo is far and away most likely to need a warranty call.

If you want a heavy gauge high quality unit look at OSO or Viessmann.
