Hi

I've just moved central heating pipes from one side of the room to the other. Now when the heating is on it is hot upstairs and cold down. The boiler is a Potterton Kingfisher 2 which is downstairs with the pump. I have tried bleeding the radiators downstairs with no joy. Is there a system that the radiators have to be bled from as in top to bottom or bottom to top or could there be something else?

Thanks

Ray

Turn off the upstairs rads; do the downstairs start to warm-up? If so you need to balance the system (procedure well documented). If not you need to analyse what you have done to change things.

What system is it? Gravity, fully pumped, single pipe :?:
