I have a probelm at my sisters house where the upstairs lights are not working. there are three in the circuit and I have used the multimeter to check the live to earth and 240v are present on all three lights. with the switch in the on positon there are 240v on the switched live side. please advice what could be wrong?
I know 240v are going to each light but non of them are working. she has had some cavity insulation insalled in last few days but if a wire had come loose then at lease one of the wires should not have a voltage present??
