Hi everyone,

This is going to sound really stupid, but yesterday the inside handle of my UPVC front door snapped off in my hand!

Its usually quite hard to lock, but i guess i must have just use a bit too much force or something. Now i cant lock it from the inside, i have to go out the back and lock it from outside!!

Are the type of handles readily available from B&Q or wickes or something??? Its a safstyle althorpe s11 if thats a help to anyone.

Thanks a lot

Some of the DIY sheds do stock replacement UPVC handles - take your broken one with you to get the same centres - distance between retaining screws, and distance between handle spindle and cylinder. If you don't have any joy, try this online place : http://www.upvcdoorhandles.co.uk/

I buy my windows from Tradestyle, sister company of Safestyle and I may have some handles kicking around, tell me what colour they are and you can have them, just cover postage.
