All, I may be going crazy here or over thinking....need some help pls.
I am looking to replace the door handles in my front upvc door.
It is a dual spindle mechanism, where the outside handle needs to be pushed up to engage the lock, push down the handle will have no effect to the latch.
Meanwhile the inside handle can unlatch door by pushing down, and engage the lock by pushing up.
The outside handle controls the top spindle, and the inside handle controls the bottom spindle.
But the problem is, all dual spindle door handles online appears to be the opposite - the outside handle controls the bottom spindle and vice versa.
Is there something wrong with my current handles and locking mechanism or i am just not looking at the same thing??!?!
