Hi,

I didn't want to hijack this thread:

...but I've got a similar issue with a bit of a difference. My patio is raised up to the DPC but has been cut away to prevent surface water ingress. The builder has now gone and I've been left with the task of painting the bricks (for cosmetics and function) before then filling the channel with stones. I've attached a couple of images to illustrate what I'm up against. I was told to use something like Black Jack DPC paint and 10mm gravel - does that sound reasonable or does anyone have a better idea?

Thanks :)
