Can you transfer jpeg files loaded on to a usb that were loaded using Microsoft op system onto a MacBook Pro or does the stick need to formatted for apple OS.

Think FAT32 is compatible with both, but has a 4Gb limit

exFAT works on both and has essentially no limitation on partition or file sizes, for this kind of thing.
